1990	Gowrie, Barden & Brett, Inc. is formed by Carter Gowrie and Mike Brett, merging the former Gowrie and Barden Agencies. The new agency handles all retail property and casualty lines with a specialization in recreational marine insurance.
1995	Gowrie Brett & Young, LLC is formed to pursue Group Benefits business in New England. Skip Young heads up the organization.
1997	GBB purchases Maritime General Agency, a NY based program administrator for AIG's recreational marine business. Christopher Pesce is selected to manage the organization.
1998	GBB launches BoatInsure.com, the first online resource for boat and yacht insurance.
1999	Brewer Preferred Insurance is formed providing cutting edge protection to Northeast boaters.
2003	Windward Marine Underwriters is founded to wholesale marine risks throughout the U.S.
2007	SeaInsure, a joint venture with SeaTow International, is launched providing marine insurance to boaters throughout the U.S.
2007	GBB and Fisher and Fisher merge, strengthening the personal lines property casualty platform. F&F, founded in 1994 by John Fisher, is a name brand agency in Fairfield County, CT.
